What we liked
- + Works across iPhone, iPad and Android devices with a compatible jack
- + Low price makes it a practical backup or second mic for interviews
- + Clip-on lapel design gives far clearer speech than built-in phone mics
Trade-offs
- - Newer phones lacking a headphone jack need an adapter to connect
- - Budget capsule has a higher noise floor than premium lavaliers
