What we liked
- + Scissor design reaches over keyboards to place mics close
- + Black frame blends into most streaming and podcast desks
- + Low price makes it an easy upgrade from a desk tripod
Trade-offs
- - Exposed springs can twang into sensitive condenser mics
- - Weaker tension struggles with heavy mics and shock mounts
