What we liked
- + MDF wood cabinet with 0.5 inch walls and a 1 inch front panel is built to minimize vibration.
- + The built-in USB audio interface connects straight to a computer for stereo playback without an external interface.
- + Sold as a pair with volume, bass and treble controls and a neodymium silk dome tweeter.
Trade-offs
- - The headline 500W is a peak figure, and the listing puts the pair at 250W.
- - 8 inch cabinets are bulky for a compact podcast desk, and the rear-mounted controls are harder to reach.
