What we liked
- + 32-bit float recording removes gain setting and prevents clipping, a real help with guests who speak at uneven volume.
- + XLR/TRS combo jacks plus a stereo mini-jack input accept external microphones and line-level sources.
- + The accessory pack adds a windscreen, case and AC adapter, and the listing quotes up to 20 hours on lithium batteries.
Trade-offs
- - The bundle costs more than the bare recorder, so it pays off only if you need the windscreen, case and adapter.
- - A memory card is not mentioned among the bundle contents, so plan to buy one before the first session.
