What we liked
- + Project Series adds more features than the basic Tube MP unit
- + Tube coloration can make thin voices sound fuller on budget mics
- + Rugged metal case sits well on a desk or in a small studio setup
Trade-offs
- - Clean inline boosters are quieter for pure gain on dynamic mics
- - Tube tone is subtle and can be hard to hear on spoken word
