What we liked
- + Multiple pickup patterns let one mic record solo, face-to-face or room interviews
- + Headphone output and gain knob give easy control without extra hardware
- + Built-in stand means you can record right away without buying mounts
Trade-offs
- - Heavy body needs a strong boom arm and a specific adapter to mount well
- - Condenser capsule captures lots of room echo if you speak too far away
