What we liked
- + Cardioid dynamic design for vocals and instruments, a pattern that favors sound from the front
- + Includes an XLR cable, mic clip and zipper pouch, so it is ready to plug into an interface
- + Rugged construction is called out in the listing, from a long-established pro audio brand
Trade-offs
- - XLR only, so it needs an audio interface or mixer and will not plug straight into a computer
- - The listing is brief, with no frequency response, sensitivity or on/off switch details
