A teleprompter helps you deliver scripted lines while looking straight down the barrel of the lens, so you connect with your audience instead of glancing off to read notes. For video podcasters recording intros, creators shooting sponsor reads, or anyone who wants a polished, confident take on the first try, it turns a stumbling read into a natural performance. In this guide we compare beam-splitter prompters that mount over your lens, tablet and phone-based setups, and all-in-one units with their own screens. We look at glass clarity, how well each rig fits your camera and lens, the scrolling apps and remote controls on offer, and how simply it all assembles on a desk or tripod. Whether you record long scripted segments or short polished clips, we help you find a teleprompter that keeps your delivery smooth and your eyeline on camera.
